Infrastructure Engineer/Support

Duties of the job will include
You will primarily be delivering projects, going on-site to clients, working on support tickets and account management. The typical size of any migration within this business is 40 - 100 seats.

  • Delivering Projects remotely & on-site for clients such as Office 365 & Azure migrations, office moves & security and compliance projects. These are small project, usually just 50 or so seats.

  • Going on-site and handling tier 1/2 issues such as hardware failures, network troubleshooting, software issues, etc.

  • Day-to-day network administration of client Servers and workstations including adding users, printers, installing applications, etc.

  • Installing, upgrading, and repairing workstations and server hardware and operating systems.

  • Support of Internet connectivity including Router and Firewall configurations.

  • Develop new project opportunities within your client base

  • Support, maintain and enhance the IT infrastructure of customers thus ensuring IT is reliable and robust

  • Identify new sales opportunities from support issues

Duties of the job will include
You will be a focal point in delivering enterprise scale infrastructure networking services to customers. The objective of the Network Engineer is to develop a technology solution that will deliver against the customer's objectives.

Often involved from the pre-sales stages of a customer engagement, the Network Engineer will be responsible for conceptualising and designing to a detailed level the overall solution, and (where necessary) delivering and supporting the overall solution on customer site.

  • Handling Second line support calls

  • You will be working with Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Office 365 and Microsoft System Centre.

  • For example, you may be working on advanced mailbox sharing permissions, group and file permissions, deployment of complex software, registry tweaks and fixes, additional storage or disk expansion, file restorations.

Duties of the job will include

  • Own all aspects of the project cycle from initial engagement with

  • Pre-sales capacity to design, delivery and hand-over into support

Cloud Consultant – Azure / Office 365

Duties of the job will include
Support to build complex Microsoft-based cloud solutions incorporating all aspects of Azure IaaS and PaaS, Office 365 and Microsoft Windows Server and System Centre technologies.

You will be responsible for documenting customer cloud solution builds including chosen configuration, IP ranges, server specifications and administrator and service account information.

You will also be responsible for planning and executing customer user account and data migrations to new cloud solutions you have built.

Engaging with the Project Team and Cloud Solution Architects to determine the best technical approach to customer migration and planning timescales, milestones and go-live criteria.

Operational Handover of Customer Clouds – Once built, and delivered, you will work with the Projects team to handover customer cloud environments to the Operations team who will take on the operational and day-to-day management of the customer cloud environment.
