Cloud Presales Consultant

We are currently hiring for a Presales Consultant to work for a Microsoft Gold Partner. For this role you will be providing pre-sales technical consultancy, advice and guidance to develop and deliver proposals to assist the clients sales team to win new business from current and prospective customers.

For this role your responsibilities would include;

• Gain an in-depth understanding of the client’s capabilities, products and services to provide pre-sales support and assistance to the client’s Sales team
• Consult and create solution designs and proposals presenting the clients capabilities to meet customer requirements
• Working with sales and marketing teams, assist in solution scoping and design for prospects and upsell to existing customers
• Provide input into the client’s product and service development
• Provide content and input to Marketing team to promote the clients’ services and capabilities
• Review and recommend new technologies to improve client services or customer environments
• Consult with new and existing customers to sell professional services such as security audits, public cloud optimisation and cloud migrations

You will need to have experience in the following;

• At least 3 years’ experience in a pre or post sales technical consultancy role in a client facing commercial organisation
• Previous experience working for a VAR, IT Solutions or Managed Services provider
• Solution architecture and technical understanding of the following:
  • MS Azure IaaS and PaaS environment design and configuration
  • Microsoft 365 suite, with a particular focus on E3/E5 licences
  • Managed IT Services
  • Cyber Security solutions and services
• Motivated, commercially aware, confident individual with a meticulous approach and attention to detail
• Hands-on, pro-active approach to defining and addressing customer and prospect requirements
• Good interpersonal, communication, documentation and presentation skills

It is a requirement of employment with this client that employees pass a security screening to Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Employees may also need SC clearance so must be eligible.

Salary: £55-70,000 base salary + £70-90,000 OTE + Benefits
