A successful IT solutions & Managed services provider are expanding their pre-sales team again and are in need of a Solutions Architect to take the lead on pre-sales engagements across their Hybrid Cloud practice. 

Working with customers, many of which are house-hold names, your role will be to engage key stakeholders providing thought leadership and strategy, whilst designing and evangelising the latest and greatest Hybrid Cloud offerings, involving vendors such as Microsoft (Azure), VMware, NetApp, Nutanix & more.

Internally, you will be the middle person between the sales and professional services teams, delivering designs that are fit for purpose as to deliver tangible outcomes for customers.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Deliver white-boarding presentations or workshops to derive technology roadmaps and architecture for customers
• Assist the Sales Team in develop their understanding and knowledge of hybrid cloud technologies in order to identify / qualify new sales opportunities
• Deliver HLD and where appropriate LLD
• Respond to RFIs, RFPs etc.
• Assist the company to grow its annuity income stream by maximising all potential annuity opportunities
• Bring new and innovative technologies into the portfolio

Key experience needed

• Previous pre-sales experience
• Proven infrastructure design capabilities (HLD and LLD)
• Solid technology experience covering a mix of the following:
  • Cloud Solutions – Public (Azure), Private, Hybrid
  • Storage/SAN – Preferably NetApp
  • Virtualisation – VMware, Hyper-V
  • HCI – Nutanix
  • Security products & solutions
• Technical Certifications to back up above experience (desirable)
• Excellent communicator (verbal & written) with the ability to engage audiences of all levels
