Hardware Implementer

A Cloud-first Microsoft Gold Partner has an exciting opportunity available for a hardware implementer to join their experienced team. This permanent role encompasses a full lifecycle of hardware management, from quotation and ordering to installation and diagnosis. This role means providing quality service to customers across the UK and will involve travel to various sites based from their head office.

Key responsibilities include:

• Sourcing product quotations from suppliers in response to customer requests.
• Providing customer quotations and engage with end users regarding product availability.
• Ordering equipment following company processes.
• Managing the goods in process.
• Assembling hardware & install software to a specification based on a bill of materials or build documentation.
• Visiting client sites to install full communication cabinets and PC equipment.
• Running diagnostics and fault-finding activities.
• Basic troubleshooting & resolution of typical hardware and software issues.
• Quality checking other engineers work.
• Ensuring that all documentation is recorded accurately & stored in line with company policies.
• Implementing & maintaining gold build/item standards and build documentation an ensure flawless end user experience.
• Ensuring the working environment meets Health & Safety standards and remains presentable and tidy.

This role is perfect for a candidate with a valid driving license and a willingness to travel to customer sites across the UK with experience working within a fast-paced client focused delivery environment.

Due to requirements of some of the clients you may be working with, a basic DBS check is required for the successful candidate.

Salary: Up to £27,000
