Azure Infrastructure Engineer
We are currently working with a Microsoft Partner who are looking to recruit an Azure Infrastructure Engineer on a permanent basis. This is a fully remote role as a part of their expanding Microsoft Cloud Platform team and is perfect for a skilled and experienced engineer looking to develop their skills and career further.
Responsibilities For This Role Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Acting as Azure Subject Matter Expert to support the design and delivery of Azure Deployments.
- Being involved in all aspects of the Cloud Adoption lifecycle, including High Level Discovery, Architecture and Design
- Helping to guide the customer’s cloud strategies
- Workload discovery, assessment, planning, and migration from on-prem or cloud solutions to Microsoft Azure using tools such as Azure Site Recovery, Azure Migrate and Data Migration Assistant.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Achieved or studying towards Microsoft Azure Certification
- Experience in designing and building Azure Based solutions
- Experience with Virtual Machines, Virtual Networking, Azure Site Recovery, etc.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Monitoring and Security services
- Experience in supporting legacy on-prem and hybrid infrastructure, including AD, Exchange, DNS, etc.
- Strong analysis and technical skills
- Experience working across infrastructure, data and application teams
