Description

We are currently for a Technical Project Manager to work on a permanent basis. For this role you will be managing project budgets, timescales and resources to ensure the desired result is achieved while ensuing established controls, processes and documentation are in place to support the formalization of project management within technical work streams.

 Your responsibilities for this role will include;

  • Lead planning and/or implementation of projects
  • Facilitate the definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements; resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas; develop methods to monitor project or area progress; and provide corrective supervision if necessary.
  • Responsibility for assembling the project staff; for their technical or functional development, performance, and/or termination during the project or programme of projects.
  • Facilitate the definition of service levels and customer requirements. Interact regularly with existing or potential clients to determine their needs and to develop plans for improving delivery. Advocate on behalf of clients and represent clients' needs as appropriate to senior management. Work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes.
  • Present oral and written reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of management.
  • Managing risk, risk mitigation and planning in all affected areas relating to associated projects.
  • Establishing process, documentation and controls for technical project management in line with business process and ethos.

You will need to have experience in the following;

  • Thorough understanding of project management phases, techniques and tools:
    • Initiate
    • Prepare: definition/scope/requirements
    • Execute & Control: scope, work plans, resources, deliverables, Q/A, transition planning, etc.
    • Close: completion and assessment
  • Established technical understanding and background.
  • Strong and tested project management skills, including sponsor and risk management.
  • Demonstrates clear methodology and process to work and associated tasks.
  • Experience in Infrastructure, Change, Networking.
  • Experience in Unified Communications.

Salary: £60,000

Job Type: Permanent

Location: South England – Offices in Hemel & Reading, Can be fully remote if required
