We are currently hiring for a Project Engineer. The PMO team need to have sufficient engineering resource available to them to fulfil project orders and this role is to assist that. This is a technical team and it is essential to maintain up-to-date skills for the nominated products in order to deliver projects effectively.
Your responsibilities for this role will include;
- Project Engineers will be required to technically validate the solution sold, whether Pre-Sales have been involved or not.
- The ability to be responsible and own the technical element in the delivery of a project, whether working alone or in a team.
- This can also be the case prior to sale at times.
- Risk assess & survey projects and applications associated. Health check and identify potential errors that could become an issue when delivering the project from paperwork deficiencies to site survey’s red flags and to communicate with the project manager.
- The need to be able to create adequate customer facing project documentation throughout the project cycle is essential and is expected.
- Installation works specified have been carried out as instructed and previously planned and agreed, delivering a high standard of work at all times, whilst ensuring the instructions set out have been executed within timeframes set.
- Thorough testing of hardware and software installed to ensure successful completion of works to a high standard.
You will need to have experience in the following;
- Proven experience in leading Microsoft projects technically, without the need of assistance/intervention from other engineers.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Microsoft service delivery, including product related qualifications for installations and ongoing support of Microsoft solutions.
- Proven experience of liaising with customers and 3rd parties, with the ability to demonstrate focused customer care skills, both on site and remotely. Clear direction setting and methodical work ethic.
- Experience of incident management - owning technical escalations, working closely with the manufacturers to successful resolution.
- Experience in populating project documentation i.e. LLD, Resiliency Documentation and Task Plans for example.
- Microsoft Office 365 suite; Global Admin, Exchange online, SharePoint, OneDrive, WVD (AVD)
- Active Directory
- Device Management/MDM; Intune
- Azure AD Sync & ADFS authentications methods including MFA
- Server support (physical host, ESXi, Hyper-V, VMware)
- Windows Server 2012 / 2016 / 2019
