.NET Developer
We are currently representing a client who are recruiting to fill a permanent full time role as a .NET Developer. This exciting opportunity is fully remote and would involve talking a leading role in the planning and development of websites, applications and system integration. This will involve working within a dynamic environment with a team committed to delivering their best work and high quality production.
This role is perfect for a meticulous, experienced and firm but fair developer with a passion for code and able to both test their own code and review the work of others to high coding standards as well as best practice to ensure high quality work that the client's customers have come to expect.
Essential Skills
The ideal candidate will have the following.
- 5 Years of commercial experience developing websites and software with programmes such as ASP.NET, MVC and C#
- 5 Years of commercial experience with Microsoft SQL Servers
- 3 Years of commercial experience with Javascript, JQuery, HTML and CSS
- A solid understanding of distributed source control systems such as Git and Microsoft DevOps
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Azure Build/Release Pipelines
- Ability to both problem solve and analyse under pressure.
- Experience with mentoring junior team members and peer code reviews
- Estimating and contributing to their project backlog in the form of user stories, tasks and acceptance criteria.
- As you are playing a key role in solution design, excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
