Established in 2011, Sanctus has always offered a safe and warm environment where homeless and vulnerable individuals feel comfortable and open to request help. Chloe Balcombe, Head of Talent Delivery here at Hancock and Parsons volunteers at this charity regularly, and asked Hancock and Parsons to get involved this year too. On the 15th and 16th of October 2021 Hancock and Parsons were proud to be Platinum Sponsors of South Coast Summit. This was Largest Microsoft Cloud Technology Conference to be held in the UK, in person, this year. We had a great time meeting up with friends and colleagues from the Microsoft community and made some fantastic new connections too. The conference was held at the magnificent Ageas Bowl in Southampton and over 1500 delegates attended to take part in the variety of talks from industry leading experts in their field. We had such a good time we have already committed to be Platinum sponsors for 2022!

Hancock and Parsons were fortunate to be one of the lead sponsors at Commsverse, the first (for 2 years!) in-person conference dedicated to MS Teams and UC. Hosted at the amazing Mercedes Benz World centre down in Surrey saw over 400 people in attendance. The conference which ran over the 15th and 16th September 2021 saw over 40 exhibitors come together to display their products and services and over 30 talks including key notes from world renowned teams experts. Hancock and Parsons were delighted to support this conference and look forward to returning in 2022!

Following a stint as a private secretary in an American bank, Helen became a dealer and advised central banks and institutional clients on foreign currency government and euro bonds, including taking positions and arbitrage for the bank’s books. Helen retrained and became a qualified accountant and specialised in auditing and pension schemes.

At Hancock and Parsons, she is responsible for invoicing, payments, banking, payroll, and management accounts. In her spare time, Helen enjoys gardening, long walks in the Yorkshire dales or you may find her interior designing or sewing from her days being trained at City and Guilds.

Joe has been working in IT Recruitment for 20 years, having started out in 2001 placing VB Developers! Outside of work he spends most of his time ferrying his 3 children to Football, Rugby, Swimming, Boxing, and Gymnastics or walking his dogs. When he does have some time for himself, you’ll find him on the Golf course or Cycling.
