Description
Configuration Analyst 
This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to work for a Microsoft Gold Partner and to join their growing team as a configuration analyst. This remote position would require travelling to the head office in either London or Rochdale once every 2 weeks, with the rest of the time spent working in the comfort of your own home to support the development of digital platforms for many different clients in the public sector. 
Key responsibilities include: 
  • Assisting in the configuration of company applications based on business requirements
  • Developing configuration requirement documents and obtain approval from business owners
  • Planning and execute assigned configuration tasks within deadlines
  • Providing system configuration support based on changing business needs
  • Assisting in system analysis, design, development, and testing activities
  • Providing support in developing, implementing, and testing patch releases and system upgrades
  • Developing and maintaining configuration policies and procedures
  • Reviewing and recommending changes to the existing configuration process
  • Analysing and resolving configuration issues promptly
  • Providing technical guidance to internal resources/resolvers in their assigned job tasks
Experience with and/or certifications in both ITIL and CMDB is essential to this role, and the candidate must be able to travel to either the Rochdale or London offices once every 2 weeks.

Salary: £35,000-£40,000
