Description

3rd Line Support Engineer

We are currently working with a Microsoft Gold Partner who are looking to recruit a 3rd Line Support Engineer on a permanent basis. This is a remote position on a full time basis sitting within the Managed Services team of the company, providing a customer facing interface for support queries and acting as a point of escalation for the 1st and 2nd line service desk teams.

Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Major incident management
  • Coordinating support queries and requests
  • Working and resolving tickets
  • Updating customers during all stages of support
  • Following company polices, procedures and controls
  • Publish customer facing technical information
  • Driving to support your own continuous professional development.

Key skills/experience:

  • Advanced Microsoft tech stack, including:
    • Azure
    • Office 365
    • Windows Server OS
    • Intune
    • SharePoint/Exchange
  • Experience working within a managed service team following ITIL processes
  • Knowledge of:
    • Active Directory
    • VMWare
    • Cloud (AWS, etc.)
    • Linux

Candidates must be able to successfully hold/achieve NPPV3 and SC Security clearance and be open to 24/7 shift pattern.
