- Description
We are currently looking for a Database Administrator for a Microsoft Gold Partner, based in the Netherlands.
The Role and Responsibilities:Plan, implement and deliver properly engineered high quality IT services and products which meet the needs of the client as defined in the project plan. The individual should be able to advise and consult where they see possibility for improvement on delivery related to the project.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Professionalism, teamwork, communication and excellent knowledge and skills are the key to success in this job role.
- 5 years+ experience working in a large enterprise IT environment
- Experience with Scrum and Agile way of working
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Demonstrated experience using SQL in performing the following tasks:
- Ensure High Availability , Setup Clustering
- Installing SQL Software
- Migrating data
- Implement Database design
- Perform Database Provisioning and Configuration
- Use Data Modelling Techniques
- Perform Exception and Error Handling
- Back Up Databases
- Enroll System Users, setup of usergroups
- Database Tuning, Performance and Optimization
- Database Security
- Setup monitoring
- Handover in operational readiness state
T-shaped in Oracle, able to perform Oracle activities independently.
Microsoft Certified MS SQL (2017 or up)
Knowledge of Service Now or equivalent product
Business Level English with Dutch as extra language preferred
ITIL
Azure knowledge
