1st Line Support Engineer
We are currently working with a Microsoft partner who are looking to fill a permanent position as a 1st Line Support Engineer. This exciting opportunity is based in the City of London with visits to client sites across the UK as and when needed. This is a client facing position so a candidate with excellent customer service and communication skills is required for this help desk position.
Responsibilities for this role include:
- Troubleshooting client support incidents over the phone, email, web-ex or at client sites
- Solving hardware and software technical issues
- Liaising directly with end users to resolve issues
- Logging technical support requests
- Use of remote-control tools and technologies
- Documentation of systems and procedures on behalf of and for customers
Experience with the following technology is required:
- Azure and Citrix Cloud
- VMware
- Microsoft Exchange and Office 365
- Network solutions including local and wide area networks
- Network associated technologies such as firewalls, routers, network switches, etc.
- Cloud backup solutions
