- Description
- We are currently hiring a Service Continuity Engineer in a permanent position for a Microsoft Gold Partner.
Main Responsibilities:
- Providing technical support and 24x7 monitoring for managed & public cloud environments and customers.
- Ensuring updates are provided for configuration information and release management, where changes are made by Service Continuity team.
- Working with the security team to improve incident processes and procedures relating to end to end operational security activities.
- In consultation with the security team, responsibility for/management of remediation tasks and activities for vulnerabilities identified in scan’s run by the security team.
- Liaising with key contacts to manage customer expectations and ensure effective containment of security alerts/incidents received.
Key Requirements:

Technical appreciation of IT environments including a sound working knowledge of;
- System Center suite – particularly SCCM and SCVMM
- Hyper-V and VMWare
- Monitoring tools – Solarwinds / Azure Monitor
- Storage technologies
- Cisco networking technologies
- Blade server technology
- Windows Server 2012 Onwards.
Salary: £35,000
Hours of work: 24/7 shift pattern.
