Description
We are currently hiring a Service Continuity Engineer in a permanent position for a Microsoft Gold Partner.

Main Responsibilities: 
  • Providing technical support and 24x7 monitoring for  managed & public cloud environments and customers.
  • Ensuring updates are provided for configuration information and release management, where changes are made by Service Continuity team.
  • Working with the security team to improve incident processes and procedures relating to end to end operational security activities.
  • In consultation with the security team, responsibility for/management of remediation tasks and activities for vulnerabilities identified in scan’s run by the security team.
  • Liaising with key contacts to manage customer expectations and ensure effective containment of security alerts/incidents received.

Key Requirements:
  • Technical appreciation of IT environments including a sound working knowledge of;

    • System Center suite – particularly SCCM and SCVMM
    • Hyper-V and VMWare
    • Monitoring tools – Solarwinds / Azure Monitor
    • Storage technologies
    • Cisco networking technologies
    • Blade server technology
    • Windows Server 2012 Onwards.
Location: Remote/Godalming
Salary: £35,000
Hours of work: 24/7 shift pattern.
